Biobest and Hi Health Agree Cattle Health Scheme Contract Extension
Hi Health Ltd has agreed to extend their contract with Biobest for the provision of diagnostic testing and veterinary advice for a further two years to January 2009. Orkney Livestock Association (OLA) will continue to provide the administration and promotional support for Hi Health.
"We have worked hard with the Hi Health board and OLA to develop the logistics of the scheme. It has continued to grow through improved service and offers to the members, commented David Kay who manages Biobests Cattle Health Scheme business. "We see the growth and development of the Hi Health scheme in Scotland as hugely important and beneficial to our other cattle business and projects in the rest of the UK and Ireland."
HI Health Ltd is a CHeCS accredited farmer led organisation that offers Scottish livestock farmers the opportunity to participate in health planning and disease eradication and accreditation with the aim of improving the performance and profitability of their stock. They are the only health scheme available that offers health planning and disease accreditation in the same package. Further information can be found at www.hi-health.co.uk.
