Biobest Strengthen Team



Biobest have added to their team to strengthen their expanding business.

Orkney farmer's daughter Helen Mills has been promoted to Technical Manager for the company. A postgraduate virologist, who has been with Biobest for seven years, Helen will focus on commercial project and study work across all species.

David Kay, an agricultural honours graduate, has been appointed as Cattle Health Scheme Manager. From a beef and dairy farming background, David brings a practical approach with scientific knowledge to the role. David is responsible for the management of the CHeCS accredited Biobest Herdcare cattle health scheme with the support of the veterinary team. He is also responsible for managing the contract for provision of diagnostic testing and veterinary advice for the HI Health scheme.

Also joining Biobest as Business Development Manager, after seven years as a business manager with Ford Motor Company, is Ian MacDougall. He will be responsible for the company's overall sales and marketing remit, including the cattle business. A farmer's son from Galloway, Ian brings experience in commercial livestock production, marketing groups and animal health sales to the company.
