Sending Avian Samples
In light of the H5N1 avian influenza outbreak please ensure that all avian samples are sent to Biobest in separate packages from samples from other species, and the packaging is clearly marked "FOR DNA TESTING".
This will ensure we can identify the packages and handle them accordingly. Please make no reference to 'avian' or 'bird' samples. This will ensure there is no unnecessary concern within the mail and courier companies.
